By far, the most common track to a successful career in aviation is by becoming a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI). Many choose to build hours and experience as a CFI before applying for corporate or regional airline jobs. Quite a few more decide to make a career out of flight instructing.
A typical flight instructor will make between $25k and $55k a year, depending on their experience level and where they choose to live. This is not bad considering that you are gaining valuable experience that will make you very marketable to a varity of aviation employers.
Progression: Private Pilot > Instrument > Commercial > Certified Flight Instructor (CFI).
If you choose to earn your certificates and ratings through Monarch Sky, then we typically offer a new CFI employment after their training. This is good for the school because we know that you are taught right. It is also good for the student, because they know that, if they apply themselves, they will have a job lined up before they even start their training. In fact, Monarch Sky actually hires a vast majaroity of their alumni after they graduate.
